I hope you all enjoyed your long weekend.

We had a great first week back at school! It was so exciting to have all our friends back in the building. Everyone has been working hard to learn routines and expectations. This week, we gear up to welcome our littlest stars, our Kindergarteners.

• Arrival begins at: 8:30 AM
• School Day: 8:45 AM – 3:25 PM
• Dismissal is at 3:25 PM
• Early Release Dismissal: 12:25 PM

Thank you all for your patience and understanding as we added in the new step at car loop. We have been moving the line pretty efficiently, and it is because of all of you and your adherence to our safety routines.

As a reminder:

• Cars will be "zippering" in at the Brennan loop to move both lines of traffic flowing.
• Use the Brennan loop to get in line. Do not make any U-turns on the street.
• When it is your turn in the loop, pull all the way up to the next car, even if you pass your child. Your child will come to you once the car is stopped.
• Any children who are carpooling (driving with another student) will be standing together in our "carpool area" on the loop.
• Please place the colored sign with your child's name on the dashboard of your car. It acts as a visual to our staff members as well as a layer of safety.
• Follow all directions from staff.

This week, with the addition of our K families, we will ask a little extra patience as we make sure everyone is safe and aware of our process.

Our breakfast runs from 8:30AM - 8:45AM. Students who wish to eat breakfast at school (and do not ride the bus), should be arriving as close to 8:30AM as possible. Please remind your child when you drop them off if you want them to have breakfast. They will be directed right to the cafeteria.

We will be having our first spirit day of the year on September 15th - International Dot Day. Students are invited to wear polka-dots as a way to celebrate creativity! Last year, the school was filled with dots, even some homemade shirts! What better way to show your creativity.
