From the Principal's Desk...
Parents/Guardians,
This is a reminder that school will be closed from Friday, April 7th through Sunday, April 16th for Easter Break. I would like to take this time to wish everyone a Happy Easter! I truly hope that each family is able to relax over the break and spend some quality time with your loved ones. School will resume on Monday, April 17th. Once we return, we only have 6 short weeks of school before the end of the year. It is important that students stay focused on what they need to accomplish before the end of the trimester. The month of May is always crazy in a school; however, there is plenty of instruction that still needs to be completed before the end of the school year.
I would also like to remind parents to stay vigilant about checking your child(ren)’s Social Media accounts. We are again seeing an issue with students creating fake accounts using another person’s name. The account we found today was using a teacher’s name. While the posts thus far have been innocent, it is not okay for a student to create an account using a teacher's name for ANY reason. I will again be speaking to the Jr. High tomorrow morning about this issue. I expect that this account will be removed by the creators and all 70 followers unfollow the account.
Please stay safe over the break and don’t forget about spreading a little kindness to all those around you.
Have a great rest of your week.
Sincerely,
Courtney Weinheimer
