Hitting Our Stride in September
The month of September is a fun month. As a school building, we get to start transitioning from teaching routines and expectations to academics. We have had a good start to the year and we are proud of how our students and teachers have started the school year. Thank you for trusting us to educate your child(ren).
Progress reports will be coming home for 1st quarter on Friday, September 22nd.
As is always the case, please reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns. We are here to help and support our students and families.

Students Showing Their ROAR!
O: Ownership
A: Attitude
R: Responsibility
As Wildcats, we show our ROAR! These are the character traits and expectations that we teach our students everyday.
We spend the first several weeks of school focusing on each character trait and explicitly teaching those expectations every Monday morning. Students can earn Paw Points, Paw Parties, and Wildcat Wows for showing their ROAR. We focus on positive behavior and celebrate students that are doing their Wildcat Best!
We have had a great start to the year and classrooms are starting to earn Paw Parties. If your student earns a Wildcat Wow, you will get a positive phone call from your student with one of the principals.
First PTO Meeting
This is a great way to get involved in what is happening at Central Elementary. All parents / guardians are welcome to attend. We will begin planning for our annual Fall Festival and set dates for other fun events for the school year.

His book, "Snack Attack!" won the 2022 Missouri Show Me Award and his book "Scaredy Snack!" won the 2023 Missouri Show Me Award.
He will also be signing books for students that have purchased them. We are excited for his visit.
