9th-grade is such an exciting year! It is the first year all students are able to earn credit toward their high-school graduation. We are excited to partner with you to ensure that your child begins the journey with a strong foundation. Each child will work with a counselor to customize a success plan. 8th grade (Rising 9th graders) Transition Timeline

Week of February 3rd-Course Registration passed out to students to select courses through Advisory. Students will return the completed Course Registration form to their advisory teacher.


February 10 & 11- Students will enter course selections into HAC during Social studies class.


March 3rd and 4th- Student-Led Conferences at SWJH (sign-up information coming soon).

Parents will review Course Requests one final time and sign the request form.
