Shifting to Canvas

Parent Access to Canvas
Parents will have access to Canvas as observers beginning February 1, 2024. Over the next eight (8) newsletters, the Office of Innovation in Learning will be releasing eight (8) steps to prepare for parent access. Coinciding with these steps will be documentation and webinars to assist teachers in getting their Canvas courses ready.
Lynx and MimioStudio
Product Future
For schools that have Boxlights, teachers have the choice to use Lynx and/or MimioStudio for instruction.
- MimioStudio will continue to be available to teachers in its current version. However, Boxlight will no longer have further product updates.
- Lynx will continually be updated and is Boxlight's future focus for digital presentation tools.
Lynx Running Slow?
Lynx connects to the HCPS OneDrive and SharePoint. SharePoint's size slows down the syncing process. Follow the directions below to disconnect from SharePoint (not OneDrive) to enhance Lynx's productivity.
