Principal's Message

I want to take a minute to THANK YOU. The past four weeks have been filled with rich experiences and hard-work for students and staff. We have all put our best foot forward and are on the road to becoming a successful team. Forming a team takes time, but our commitment to our students and our willingness to learn will guide our efforts. Bruce Tuckman's Forming, Storming, Norming, and Performing team formation model describes the stages groups go through when becoming a team. Forming a team and getting to know each team member is the first-step. The second stage, Storming, is often the most difficult as we attempt to merge our work styles and negative feelings that blur our mission surface. Gradually, the Norming stage kicks in and differences are resolved, individual strengths are valued, and hard-work pays off. The team starts Performing and achieves a common goal. We are in the process of becoming a highly successful team and moving through the four stages--Forming, Storming, Norming and Performing. For your engagement in this process and commitment to our students, I can't THANK YOU enough! I am honored to work with you and confident in our team's success.
