CTS Snapshot

Welcome to our CTS Snapshot - a weekly celebration update. We are delighted to share with parents and carers alike student triumphs at Corby Technical School. We are proud of every student and every success they have - please feel free to share with us any achievements they might have.

We are excited to have all our students back in school this week. For the first edition of Snapshot for this year we will share achievements from our Year 11 GSCE results day and other activities that have taken place in school.

We always love to see the faces of our students when they receive their results from Mrs Reynolds. Students are always keen to share their successes with each other. As well as working hard for their qualifications, they have built some wonderful friendships that will last a lifetime!

This week Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 have taken part in our Sports Festival. The PE team are very proud of our students who have engaged and worked extremely hard in their groups. it has been fantastic to provide students with the opportunity to play competitive sport in school after so long without it. Well done to you all!

Year 8 Elections have taken place this week and it has gone really well with students engaging with their peers and creating fantastic political campaign videos. Today, students watched the campaign videos and will then vote for their favourite party. The winner will be announced Monday 23rd August!

Year 7 have been creating these sunflower vases in the style of

Van Gogh that will soon be appearing in our corridors. Each child has drawn their own sunflower. The combination looks stunning!
