November 2023 🦃
🧡 🧡 🧡
It is hard to believe we are already into November! This is a very busy month with a lot of time off from school. Please make sure your student is staying up to date with student assignments in Canvas and if need be, reach out to teachers with concerns.
This month, Veterans and military personnel will be a focus within many different learning objectives and school activities. We would like to honor our Veterans and active members for their service to our country. We will be creating WALL OF HONOR that will showcase photos of our students' military family members. We ask that any student who would like to participate to please send in a photo of their family member. Please be sure to include the student name, relative, and their branch of service. These photos will be showcased in the front hallway for the duration of November and into December. Pictures can be dropped of to the main office, or emailed directly to Ms. Reed at nreed@k12.wv.us.
Thankful for a Teacher? Leave them a personalized message here . Messages to be delivered to the teacher's school mailbox. Form will be open for the duration of November.
Reminder that there is no school on Friday, November 10 due to the observance of Veterans Day. Fall break will begin on Saturday, November 18. Students will return to school on Monday, November 27.
Wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Sports Update
CTMS Football finished a great season just a little short in the Championship game versus Wildwood. The Panthers defeat came down to the last play of the game. We are proud of all of the fall teams' efforts this season!

National Give Back Month - Canned Food Drive Contest
This month is Thanksgiving and National Give Back Month. In keeping with this theme, Mrs. Agunsday has organized a canned food collection to support one of our very important charities right here in Charles Town, Community Ministries and Foodbank. Students will be working with their 1st period classes to see which class can bring in the most canned goods between Monday, November 6 and Thursday, November 16. One room from each grade level that donates the most canned goods will get a treat during 9th period on November 17th.
