Dear Wolf Ridge Students and Families,

We are excited to celebrate Valentine's Day and National Random Acts of Kindness Day next week at Wolf Ridge. We have many plans to spread kindness at our school throughout the week.


PFK will host Valentine's Day class parties for grades K-5 on Monday afternoon. Thank you so much to those that have volunteered to help organize these parties and/or donated to make them special for our students. Students in 6th and 7th grade will be able to purchase special Kindness Candy-Grams on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday morning for fifty cents each. These special notes and treats will then be passed out on Thursday afternoon on National Random Acts of Kindness Day.


We will have a special assembly to recognize our Patriots involved in volleyball and scholastic bowl on Wednesday morning. We will also challenge all students to make a plan to spread kindness on Thursday for National Random Acts of Kindness Day. How will you and your family spread kindness? See below for more information about everything happening at Wolf Ridge this coming week.

K-5 Classrooms will have Valentine's Class Parties in the afternoon on Monday, February 14th. Don't forget to bring your cards to share with friends.

Junior High Students Can Purchase a Kindness Candy-Gram for a Friend on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Mornings. These notes and treats will then be passed out on Random Acts of Kindness Day, Feb. 17th in the afternoon.

Spring Pictures (and Sports Pictures) have been rescheduled for Tuesday, FEBRUARY 15th

Wear PURPLE on WEDNESDAY

We are encouraging everyone to wear purple on Wednesday in remembrance of Ms. Mullink. Ms. Mullink served as a lunch monitor and bus driver for our district before passing away in 2020.

CURRENT COVID GUIDELINES FOR SCHOOLS

We are doing our best to navigate these changes in guidance and communicate changes with you as soon as possible. Currently, masks are optional for students and staff at BHCUSD8. Please click on the link below to view the letter from the Superintendent about this and other changes to Covid mitigations due to the judges ruling on February 4th.

DONATE $1 (or more) to BLESSINGS IN A BACKPACK AND WEAR A HAT ON FRIDAYS!

We are going to have a hat day this coming Friday!

- February 18th = HAT DAY (Donate to Blessings in a Backpack)

- February 21st = No School for President's Day

- March 2nd = Early Dismissal at 12:30
