Hello Castle Rock Families!

I would like to take a moment to thank you for your partnership and generosity during my tenure at Castle Rock. We are blessed to be part of a vibrant learning community that puts our kids first. I have loved getting to know you and your children, and I thank you for entrusting them to me and to our staff.

While my journey in education is continuing elsewhere, I will always remember my time in Walnut Valley. We are an incredibly special organization and will continue to be so. Best wishes to my Knights in your future endeavors...go out and be the people of integrity and character this world needs!

Dear Families,

First Trimester Report Cards will not be mailed home. K-5th Grade Report Cards are now available to view or print from your Parent Portal. To view your child’s report card from home, please log into Parent Portal, click the GRADES tab, and click on STANDARDS BASED REPORT CARD. A step by step tutorial is attached below this message. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the school office during our regular office hours.

Our November School Site Council meeting is scheduled for this coming Friday, 11/20 at 1:30pm via Zoom. For more information, feel free to contact our office.

It's almost turkey time! Mark your calendars for our fall recess. There will be no instruction Monday, November 23 through Friday, November 27. Please enjoy some rest, relaxation, family time, and pie!

Our next CRCC meeting is scheduled for Friday, December 4. Please stay posted for more information. All are welcome to join!

The College of Education at California State University, Fullerton has created a free virtual tutoring program for 1st-12th grade. This tutoring program includes math, science, language arts and social studies. In addition, the program has tutors who can tutor students who are taking high school Spanish or French, and students who are participating in dual immersion programs.
