I am proud to join the Mount Olive School District this year while serving as a leave replacement for 6th Grade ELA. Prior to this year, I taught in the Washington Township, Morris County District for almost 6 years as both a leave replacement teacher and special education teacher in grades K-5. I received my M.Ed. in special education in 2016 from the College of Saint Elizabeth, Morristown, NJ.

Hello! My name is Zach Fike and I’ll be teaching 7th grade Math for the Yellow Team. I am so excited to be back in Mt. Olive as I am an Alumni and it’s good to be working with many of my former teachers! I graduated from Kutztown University, completed my Student Teaching at the Commonwealth Charter Academy in Pennsylvania, and covered a maternity leave last year at Glen Rock Middle School. I look forward to my first year back as a Marauder and hope to continue to be a true #MarauderForLife

My name is Kayla McDonald, and I'm a new guidance counselor. I'm interested in art and technology, enjoy baking, and love being outside. I graduated from Mount Olive a long time ago, and I'm excited to be back!

Having recently moved from Michigan, I am grateful to return to teaching at Mount Olive Middle School. I received my degree in Biology at The Ohio State University and started my career at a medical research firm. I have taught Biology and Environmental Science at the high school level as well as middle school. I am excited to bring my enthusiasm for Science to my new students.

As I go into my 5th year of teaching, I am so grateful to be back at MOMS (where I started my career). Originally, my background is in wildlife conservation which has given me real life experience that I can bring into the classroom! My hope is that I can share my enthusiasm for all the sciences with my new young scientists!

I am the new ESL teacher at MOMS. I previously worked at Sandshore School for 7 years. I live with my husband, 2 year old daughter Madeline, and dog Ollie.

My name is Tricia Mitchell, and I have recently transferred from Sandshore School to join the staff at MOMS. I will be teaching Innovation and Design this year, so you can find me in the Maker Space. I look forward to building relationships as well as products with my 7th grade students!

I'm the new Computer Science teacher, Casandra Brodhecker- but I go by Casey. This is my 5th year teaching. I previously taught a STEAM based course, elementary all subjects, and middle school science. I am very excited to be a part of Mount Olive Middle School and to get to know all the students and staff!

My name is Radhika Jayakumar and I am happy to join MOMS as the leave replacement for 6th grade science. I have a degree from Rutgers University, and I live in Jefferson.
