AVA Family Update
October 13, 2023
Good morning AVA Students and Families,
As per usual, I have next week's schedule our usual guidance and community updates below.
I have several important announcements for you. The first is that we have a new person filling in for Math. Ms. Lori Carless is a respected Attleboro High School veteran that we are lucky to have fill in for Ms. Mellor's absence. She has access to all of Ms. Mellor's grades and Edgenuity rights. She will be hosting the google meets and providing feedback for students. She can be reached at lcarless@attleboroschools.com. The next two are both vitally important as well. See below for very important information for Seniors and MCAS retest information for students across grades.
Thank you for your time.

Seniors
There are many things to do prior to your graduation, even if you don't plan to be participating in person. As with all things AVA, you are entitled to participate in any and all in person AHS and community events.
A very detailed letter is attached below. Your first task (making sure we have your name on your diploma correctly) is due on November 1.
Guidance Updates
Naviance
All AVA students grades 9-12 have access to the online College and Career search tool Naviance. It is free to use and advertisement-free! Naviance is a great resource to utilize throughout high school, whether to take surveys to figure out possible career paths based on personal interests or looking up colleges that are the best match based on GPA and such. New students to AVA: please check your attleborops.net email for a Naviance password reset. Email Ms Nellie (below) anytime if you forget your password. Below are login instructions and recommended Naviance activities based on grade level.
