URL SCHEDULE CHANGES

As a result of Phase Three implementation being expedited to Monday, September 21, 2020, changes to the URL schedule are necessary.

Please see the revised STES Phase III_IV Simultaneous Schedule attached in the weekly update email.
Wednesdays will continue to be primarily asynchronous for all grade levels. Teachers will assign work and schedule individual and small group instructional sessions.
Creative Arts will continue on Wednesdays at their scheduled time according to the revised URL schedule. F2F students in Phase Three will physically rotate to Creative Arts classes beginning Monday, September 21, 2020.

FCS Family Selection Survey

We only have 109 survey selections remaining. If you have not made your selection for your student, please do so today.

Parents, it is imperative that you indicate your selection with respect to the reopening of school for Phase III, IV and full Face-to-Face. Your selection will be designated in Infinite Campus for the purpose of attendance and engagement. Failure to complete selection will result in your scholar being designated as returning F2F for Phase III, IV, and full F2F.

Parents do have the option of remaining virtual or returning F2F during each phase of reopening.

You will need your scholar's student ID number to complete your selection. This can be found in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

Class Link Log In

Scholars' username is their ID number and password is their birthday. This will give them access to all of the resources necessary for Universal Remote Learning.

After logging in to Class Link, you will see a similar page with folders containing various apps and tools. Two most important are the MS Office 365 (lower right) and iReady (top right). Inside the MS O365 folder is the MS Teams app. Your scholar will go there first to meet with teacher every morning.

Scholars will access MS Teams first thing every morning to meet their teacher and classmates. Their page will look similar to the one depicted. They will need to look for the one with "General" in the title.

DEVICE DEPLOYMENT GRADE 2

Second grade scholars attending F2F will receive devices upon attending. Deployment to the remaining 2nd grade scholars will begin subsequently. FCS prioritizes deployment to all students across the district. This priority and shipping delays may extend the deployment period. Once deployment begins, email carteram@fultonschools.org for additional information.

Learning Packets

FCS created learning packets are intended for families that are unable to or do not wish to engage in daily remote instruction. All families are asked to select the method of engagement – weekly packet completion or remote learning participation. Changes in your method of engagement must be communicated to your child’s teacher and will be effective the following week. Engagement methods cannot be changed during a given week.

Weeks 6 packets are available now for drive through pick-up in our bus loop. Please take only one packet per scholar. Completed packets are due by the following Tuesday of the designated week. If you require a previously available week's packet, please call the school at 470-254-3500 to arrange for pickup or access the link below or in the corresponding email. Packets may be turned in after the scheduled time. However, it is important to establish routines for student pacing, documenting of engagement, attendance, and grading.

Students with IEPs (except AU program students) will complete the same packets as their grade level general education counterparts. IRR teachers will communicate and make modifications to the packets as appropriate per the individual student's IEP.

Please pay close attention to the labels on the bins. A separate receptacle will be marked for submission of completed packets.
