A Message to our Bears...
Primary Bears,
We hope everyone had a safe and memorable Halloween! We have 8 instructional days before we leave for Thanksgiving break. Every moment counts. Please avoid arriving late or picking your student up early if at all possible. Our schedules are bell to bell and when you pull your student out early, he/she misses activities and instruction that can't always be recreated.
Next week, our 2nd graders will perform in the evenings to honor our Veterans. See the schedule below. This is always a favorite performance.
Have a great rest of the week! Tomorrow is a Spirit Ribbon and Sticker sale day! $1 each.
Sincerely,
Shelley Keck
Principal

Veterans Day Photograph Display
The students and staff at La Vernia Primary School love and appreciate our military veterans! We want to recognize your family members who have served or are currently serving in the US military by displaying their picture on our Wall of Honor. If you would like your loved one to be included, please send one photo with your child to school by Wednesday, October 25. Please include a piece of paper with the photo that has the Veteran’s name, rank and branch of the military served. Do not mount the photo on anything- just the photograph should be sent. Please also label the back of the photo with your child’s name and teacher so that we can return the photo to you. Thank you for helping us with this special recognition!
Tuck and Roll....
