Principal's Message

"Be more patient. Be more kind. Be more caring... to yourself and others." ~Dr. Nock


Despite our best efforts, the 'me-first' mentality of the world seeps into our schools each day. Motivating children to think collectively and collaboratively can be very difficult when the world teaches them that what they feel and want is more important than anything else. Amidst some unkind words, gestures, and actions I've observed, I was inspired to create a message that conveyed the depth of my concerns in a way that I hoped my students, staff, and, yes, even parents/guardians could benefit from.


'In Your Shoes' originated from my belief that we must recognize and value our inherent differences. Designer clothing or name-brand shoes do not matter when they only serve to conceal the inner turmoil and pain we feel. I thought the pandemic's conclusion would foster a greater appreciation for resuming our closeness. Instead, I've found many of our hearts remain socially distanced, unable to extend compassion, empathy, and basic levels of respect for each other.


George Benson sang, "Learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all." And it truly is! When we have that self-love, we won't need a designated holiday or time of the year to express it. It will become a part of who we are, and it shows in the way we appear in the world.

TH Student Council Black History Contest

TH Student Council is hosting a Black History Month Poster Contest. The theme is 'African American Achievements or Inventions' Students are asked to create a poster that represents an African American who has made an impact with an invention or through an achievement. Please see the flyer link.

Safety Patrol & The Willingboro Police Department

Thank you to Mrs. Gregory and the Student Safety Patrol Officers who finely represented Twin Hills at the Willingboro Police Department. Representatives for the TH Safety Patrol have been invited to speak at an upcoming town council meeting on Tuesday, February 7th, @ 7:00 pm.

Twin Hills Celebrates Black History Month

February is the month that we pay tribute to African American men and women who endured adversity to contribute their intellect, skills, and talents to the betterment of people in the United States and around the world. Each day we spotlight one of the many African Americans that all students need to know. You are welcome to view the TH 2022-2023 Black History Month Slideshow containing what is read daily and shared on the main entrance screen.

First Grade's January Reading Challenge Results

Grade 1 students read a total of 524 books as a part of the Nu Nu Chapter's reading challenge. We thank the 40 students (42.1%) for participating in January's challenge! The Grade 1 Reading Challenge Top Readers, lists the top readers for each class. But, we must recognize the top reader for the month- Emma Kay Sagrado, who read 69 books! February's Word of the Month... Resilience

Resilience is the ability to handle life's ups and downs by bouncing back after challenges or tough situations. You can be resilient by learning to deal with challenges by having a positive attitude and outlook; using your problem-solving skills. It also helps to communicate or talk to someone you trust about your problem.
