Niton Central News

With our grade 7-9 student's Learning@Home Niton Central is much quieter but very busy. Lessons are continuing as "normal" as possible for our grade 7-9 students. The elementary teachers are moving along with "Christmas" events beginning organized following the Covid19 safety protocols.

Next week (Monday) we will also be holding our AGM for our School Council along with the regular agenda. Also, Christmas sweater day will be held on Wednesday, with an unofficial ugly sweater competition amongst staff.

Using the Hover Star UFO the grade 1&2 students are able to have safe fun during their Phys. Ed. class following the social distancing and "no touch" protocols. Tossing the UFO into the air they used your hands as the control to move around the gym and around obstacles. A great hand and eye coordination activity.

School Council Virtual Meeting will be hosting their Annual General Meeting on Monday, Dec. 7th (9:30am) along with the regular scheduled meeting.
