Seas The Day Mays Family!!!
March Newsletter
Dear Mays Family,
We are three weeks away from our Spring Intercession. After intercession, we will be preparing for "testing season". Our teachers and students have been teaching and learning so much this year! Our mid year growth on MAP was above average growth in many grade levels. We want to continue this into our Spring testing. We were able to celebrate our Kindergarten and 1st graders in a Book Character Parade during Read Across America Week. It was absolutely precious! We were excited to celebrate the students and the growth they have experienced throughout the year. We have several Kindergarten and 1st grade students qualifying for Accelerated Reader. This is incredible! Dr. Mays believed that education was the key to breaking barriers and projecting positive outcomes for our youth. At Mays, we hold on to this philosophy as well. We play a key role in our students' success in life. It takes a village, and we are grateful for our village.
Sincerely,
Tiara Watson
Principal
