Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year. Bancroft teachers and staff are excited to welcome our students, learn about their interests, and support them through these unprecedented times. Even though school will look different this year, please know that your students and your families are our focus and we are here for you! We appreciate your support and we look forward to partnering with you to make this school year great! All classes will start on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, online only.
Communication with families will look different this year. We will be relying heavily on digital technology to stay in touch with you. I ask that you continue to check our website https://lbbancroft.schoolloop.com several times a week and all emails daily. We will also continue to send phone messages as needed. These are the quickest ways for us to get new information out to our families. It is critical that all of your information is up to date so that we can reach you. Please login to ParentVue and update your email address and phone numbers. If you need to update your home address, please contact our office for an appointment to bring in the necessary documentation.
Students will be using our new “Learning Management System (LMS)” named CANVAS to attend classes, turn in work, receive feedback from teachers, view grades, and communicate with teachers and staff. We will also begin to show parents how to access the CANVAS system so that you can view much of the information students see when they log in as well as monitor your students’ grades. We are all learning how to best use this new system and ask for your patience as we roll out all of the components.
Bancroft staff is available to assist you each school day via phone at (562) 425-7461. Our office is also open to the Bancroft community, by appointment only. If you require in-person assistance, please call the school office to make an appointment.
