Sora

The Sora app was designed around the modern student reading experience. It empowers students to discover and enjoy eBooks and audiobooks from their school, for both leisure and class-assigned reading.

Inspired by educator and student feedback, Sora was created to excite kids about reading and remove distractions to promote a focus on learning.

• Personalized with book recommendations and learning tools like dyslexic font, enlarged text, Read-Alongs and audiobooks

1. On your Chromebook, you can find the Sora app in Clever.

2. You can access Sora at home through your Clever account.

3. You can also download the app on your personal device or go to soraapp.com

Login is a little bit different than normal. You will use your school email EXCEPT end it with @rcisd.org INSTEAD of @rcbulldogs.net.

You will use your normal password.

• Once you are logged into Sora, click the 3 lines in the top right corner.
• Click +Add Library.
• Type 'Royse City ISD' in the search bar & click 'This is my school.' when you find Royse City ISD.
• You will also want to add the Northeast Texas Digital Consortium which is access to even more amazing digital books from our local public libraries. You can do this by clicking the 3 lines again, clicking +Add Library again, & searching Royse City again. Click on Northeast Digital Consortium & finally click 'This is my school.' Now both libraries will show up on your account.
• Now it's time to READ!
