College Application Crash Course
On August 23 Gear-Up sponsored an event designed for seniors to prepare for the 2023-2024 school Year. Over forty participants learned to navigate the college application process. Guided by Nichole Mitchell (Career and College Counselor), our GEAR-Up Program was able to support families in amazing ways. There will be many more opportunities in the near future. However, follow Ms. Mitchell's Instagram and e-mails to stay informed.
Paving the Way for Ninth Graders
During recent grade level assemblies, all classes learned how the PBIS principles of being Safe, Respectful and Responsible applied to their everyday lives. Ninth Grade classes also receive extra support from a GEAR-UP cohort group. These professional will follow the ninth grade as they move through high school.
Infinite Campus for 2023-2024
Infinite Campus is our new application for communication. As we progress through the school year, anticipate the NAHS administration leveraging this tool to inform you of academic, attendance and attitude success.
There will be sessions to train parents on how to use Infinite Campus during the upcoming Back To School Night on September 14, 2023.

The capacity of Infinite Campus will grow as the year continues.
Tutor.com Ready for Immediate Support
The Norristown Area School District has recently invested in the resource known as tutor.com. This service allows students 24/7 Access to an live tutor online to support their learning and academic growth. Tutor,com will be one of many TIER 1 (available for all students to access) Academic Interventions .
NAHS Building Turns 50!
Many may not be aware, but the NAHS building turns 50 this year! We have a strong alumni base who take pride in Norristown's history. It was a huge shift in education for our community when this building was constructed in the early 70's. This fall, anticipate programs and events to recognize the semicentennial.
