We are so excited to announce that for the 2023-2024 school year we will be a full Spanish immersion school with 50% of the instruction being in Spanish in every grade level. This is our

last school year with one 5th grade class that is all English only. Kindergarten through 4th grade classes this year are already 50% Spanish Immersion.

It was exciting to visit Mrs. Martinez’ s 4th grade classroom where the students were working on creating their own business. They had to complete the research, develop a

business plan with costs and expenditures. They also video taped themselves sharing their business plan. Lot’s of 4th grade entrepreneurs who planned to make bracelets, have

dog camps, lemonade stands and a variety of other great businesses. Nice work 4th graders.

Thank you to our families who are already participating in activities for Family Teacher Teams! Folders with activities have gone home with students for Kinder, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades. 1st and 3rd grade folders will be sent home soon and you'll also be receiving communication from your child's teacher via Remind. After fall break, we will send out a FTT survey so we can hear your feedback.

The library is requesting Spanish book donations to help grow our collection! If you would like to donate any Spanish books (especially short chapter books), Ms. Suzy and our students would love to have them in the library!

It’s almost that time of year again!

Get out those running shoes and join your kiddos on the field. Mileage Club is starting after fall break and can't run without volunteers, we need you! Mileage Club will meet most Thursdays during lunch recess on the lower field. Every student is encouraged to participate, it's a fun time! The kids run/walk laps while earning tokens for each mile completed. Let's help the kids have a blast while staying active.

We have two shifts available, stay for one or both. If you can't commit to a full shift feel free to swing by to run laps or cheer on your little runner.

Shift One 10:45-12:00 (Kindergarten)

Shift Two 12:00-1:15 (All other grades)

Volunteers will assist with set up, take down, scanning, handing out tokens, handing out name tags, and cheerleading. Parents and younger siblings are welcome to run too if that's something you enjoy.

Please join us for the annual Trunk or Treat event on October 28 from 6:30 pm - 8 pm. We are currently looking for families who would like to participate in handing out candy. Please see the sign-up link below for additional information. We are also in need of donations of candy for this event, there will be a bin near car pick-up/drop-off, starting next week.
