A Wave of Orange Rolled Through the Conejo on Unity Day
Kindness. Acceptance. Inclusion. Members of our CVUSD community proudly wore orange last Wednesday, October 18th as a symbol of our commitment to unite against bullying on Unity Day, and every day - all year through.
TOHS Hosts Quince AƱos Fashion Show in Honor of Hispanic Heritage Month
Earlier this month, Thousand Oaks High School hosted its first Quince AƱos Fashion Show as part of its Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations. Students, families and community members gathered for a special evening featuring a Folklorico Performance and QuinceaƱera Fashion Show, featuring our Lancers. The event was emceed by local Spanish radio station, 102.9 Radio Lazer. Congratulations on an incredible event! Photos from the fashion show are included below. Go Lancers!
Free High School Event: "A Deeper Look at Highly Selective College Admissions"
Learn More: Conejo Valley's 1st Spanish-English Dual Language Immersion Program
The Spanish-English Dual Language Immersion Program at Conejo Academy of Leadership and Language Immersion prepares students to think, read and write in two languages, resulting in them becoming bilingual, biliterate and bicultural. Attend an upcoming Information Session to learn more about this innovative program and the enrollment opportunities available for TK-2nd grade scholars for the 2024-2025 school year.

Kindergarten Age Requirement for 2024-2025
- For the 2024-2025 school year, a child must be 5 years old on or before SEPTEMBER 1, 2024.
Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Requirement for 2024-2025

*NEW: Students born between 9/2/2019 and 6/2/20 are eligible for TK only (per EDC 48000 (c) (1) (F)).

*NEW: A child who will have their fifth birthday between July 1, 2024 and September 1, 2024 may be admitted to a transitional kindergarten program or a kindergarten program based on the choosing of the parent/guardian. (per the October 18, 2023 approved Amendments to Board Policy 6170.1 Transitional Kindergarten)
