Our Pointers enjoyed the Future Business Leaders of America Fall Leadership Conference in Eau Claire last week, getting the chance to mingle with state leaders of the organization!

The Mineral Point Odd Fellows have held several recent events that will benefit our students and families -- we are so grateful for their generosity!

-- A pancake breakfast was held during Mineral Point’s Cornish Fest. The Mineral Point youth that are going to visit Cornwall this spring assisted with the serving. The Odd Fellows were able to give them the proceeds in the amount of $550 to assist them with their trip.

-- Thanks to all who purchased pork sandwiches at Aspen Ridge during Homecoming, the Mineral Point Odd Fellows were able to give donate $500 to the Excellence in Education Endowment and the Pointer Pantry. Both are worthwhile organizations that benefit the youth of our community.

-- A food drive was held during the Sept. 16th football game. Thanks to generous football fans, The Odd Fellows were able to donate food and $430 to the Iowa County and Mineral Point Food Pantry.

The Iowa County Health Department is offering a free, walk-in flu vaccine clinic for children ages 6 months through 18 years old on Monday, November 21st from 3:00pm-6:00pm at the Health and Human Services Building (303 W Chapel St) in Dodgeville.
