I'm happy to say that all classrooms have been cleared. It took a bit longer than we first anticipated, but the important thing is that the work is done. The district's Central Office building is now going through the same process that we experienced. We are all hoping that things run on schedule for them.
Water Fountains
We are anticipating that we will be able to turn on our water fountains again next week. Your child is always welcome to bring their own water bottle from home though.
PTO Funds in Action
If you've been around the back of the school by the garden, then you might have noticed that we have a new shade structure in our garden area. This was paid for with PTO funds from last year's Walk-a-thon. We will continue to put the finishing touches on the structure and will then set it up to be used as an outdoor classroom. We are looking forward to using this innovative area (once the weather is a bit warmer). Thank you PTO and parents for making this happen!
