Good evening Parkway Families! I hope everyone had wonderful Labor Day weekend and spent time making some awesome memories with family!
This week, our students will begin taking NWEA Map Growth Tests. These tests are given three times per year (fall, winter, and spring). We give students MAP Growth tests to determine their instructional level and to measure academic growth throughout the school year (and from year to year) in math and reading. Please help us by encouraging your child to do his/her best and to be here each day. Thank you for your support!
Here are a few important dates for your calendars:
- September 8: NWEA Testing begins for all students in K-5
- September 21: Fall Pictures & Early Dismissal for students. All secondary schools (Bryant High, Bryant Jr High, Bryant Middle, and Bethel) will be holding parent/teacher conferences. All schools will dismiss early on this day. Parkway will dismiss at 1:45. Please plan accordingly. Elementary conferences will be held October 21.
Don't forget the Peanut Butter Drive! We will be collecting peanut butter through September 30th! All peanut butter stays in our area to help our community!
Several parents have asked about obtaining additional car tags. We now have extra tags in the office. You can purchase the extra tags for $2 each in the office. The funds collected for additional car tags will go into our student activity account.
