McCarthy vs. Parker Track & Field - Middle School Championships
This coming Thursday, June 1st, Chelmsford will be holding its second-ever McCarthy vs. Parker Track & Field Invitational Event. The invitational will begin promptly at 3:00 pm and wrap up by 5:15 pm. It will be held on the track behind McCarthy Middle School.
Although only members of our middle school team are eligible to participate, we hope that the entire community feels welcome to attend. Please come cheer on your friends and classmates as they jump hurdles, throw javelins, complete relay races, long jump, as well as compete in many other exciting events!
Thanks to the generosity of the Pop Warner Program, the snack shack will be open for drinks, snacks, and even easy dinner plans!
Everyone must have a secured ride home once their events are over. Additionally, be on the lookout for high school athletes that will have brochures and information about optional Track & Field Summer Camps for those wishing to attend.

- Parker's Got Talent- Thank you to all that attended PGT. Our students did an amazing job sharing their talents. Congratulations on another successful show! Special thank you to PGT director, Karyn Crouthamel and PGT volunteers for keeping this tradition going!
- Parker Pride Run- Thank you to all that attended and participated in our 2023 Parker Pride Run! It was a beautiful day filled with lots of smiles. Congratulations to all who crossed our finish line. Special thanks to our top sponsor PhillisOrthodonitcs, Great Lowell Road Runners, Goodr, Buff City Soap and our awesome volunteers!
- Red Sox Game: Did you miss out on buying tickets for Middle School Night at Fenway Park on Thursday, June 1st at 7:10 pm? If so, look for posts on Parker Parents Facebook page to connect with people who did purchase tickets and are now unable to use them. Tickets are being sold for $40 each.

Please Send Email: Prior to 9am on the day of the absence (same as current voicemail option) Please Include: Child’s name, Grade, and Reason for absence.
We encourage you to use the email option when reporting an absence, dismissal, etc. Parents are still free to use the phone system to report absences, but you are encouraged to use email for greater office efficiency.
If you prefer, you can certainly call the attendance line prior to 9:00am, at 978-251-5133, extension #4100.
We will continue to send automated emails when students are absent. The email serves as notification that your student is not in school and will be marked absent.
In order for an absence to be marked as "Excused", families will need to provide medical documentation.
