Water For South Sudan Speech

Donate for "Water For South Sudan"!
Imagine never being able to wash your hands, take a shower, or even drink clean water. Just imagine not having clean clothes and dishes, or not cooking. We can do these things and more with clean water, while the South Sudanese can’t even drink it.
Today I’d like to talk to you about the lack of water in South Sudan and how you can help provide these people with clean water to drink and perform everyday practices with.
If you donate to this project, you could make a difference for the 17.5 million-plus people lacking clean drinking water and potentially cure 5,500 South Sudanese people with illnesses.
There are so many things that these people could have if you donated even a little bit of money. Schools could be built and millions of Sudanese children could be educated and learn about how they could possibly change the world one day, and they would have water to drink if they got thirsty. Or, a clinic to cure ill patients and use the water to wash down pills and medicine. Or maybe you could help someone get back to work and provide for his family because he is able to quench his thirst after a hard day's work. These things and many more can be available to the Sudanese if you donate.
While some may argue that Sudan is another country and it is not their problem, I strongly disagree. Think about how you would feel if you had no clean water, and you were in a clinic, in pain.
But, if you donate, lots of people can be spared from that unbearable pain. So please, join me and many others in donating money for Water For South Sudan.
Thank you for listening to my speech.
