This Week in Religious Education
What is happening for children, youth, and families at OUUC
Family Chapel this Sunday
This Sunday is Family Chapel, our once a month worship for kids and their families. Chapel starts right at 11:00, so come straight back to the classrooms instead of starting in the sanctuary. Family Chapel is intended for the whole family to do together, but no child will be turned away if their adults cannot attend with them.
Our theme this month is "Revelation". Join us to hear the stories of Moses and the Burning Bush and Theodore Parker (Unitarian Transcendentalist Minister) and the Turtle, to sing, to meditate, and more!

Sunday and Every Day: Taking It Home
Last Sunday we learned about our Six Sources and explored a story from the Jewish Tradition: Moses and the Ten Commandments.
Discuss at home:
- Do you think God speaks to people? If you don't think or believe in terms of God, what about the Universe, Nature, or the Spirit of Life or Love … do they speak to people? Have you ever felt like you were being spoken to?
- How do we know what is true? What could be some non-miraculous ways that we find truth? Does the world, nature, reason, or science give us revelations and truth as well?
- If you were giving truths about how we should act, writing your own ten commandments, what would they be?
