Attention: Parents of 2025 Graduates WE NEED YOUR HELP
Students! Parents!!
Make sure you sign your students up for the all night grad party! Cost is $50 to attend and includes a whole night of activities and prizes!
You can pick up a registration sheet from Mrs. Rands in the office and pay by cash, check, or Venmo. If paying by Venmo, please indicate that on the sheet and we will confirm on our end to be sure payment has been sent.
Planning has been ongoing for the 2025 Chem Free All Night Grad Party. This party is hosted by the parents of the graduates to be able to provide a safe and chemical free venue for them to celebrate their accomplishments. Our event takes place immediately after graduation starts with a harbor cruise on the Vista, followed by the party at Skyline Social and Games from 10pm until 5am.

Donations: We are still securing donations from area businesses for prizes for graduates. Please consider any local contacts that you have for donations!

IMPORTANT EVENTS COMING UP FOR SENIORS
MAY 5th - PHS SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS NIGHT (5:30pm)
PHS Seniors who have been awarded a scholarship from various sources that have notified the guidance office will be honored and the scholarship will be given by those who represent it. If a senior has been invited to this event, they are getting a scholarship of some kind. This is a classy event and student dress and appearance should reflect this. This event will be held at the Aspirus St. Luke's Sports and Event Center at 5:30pm.
MAY 5th - PHS FINE ARTS AWARDS NIGHT (7pm)
PHS Students who have excelled in the fine arts (Drama, Visual Art, Choir, Band, NHS, etc.) will be recognized for their achievement. This event will be in the PHS Auditorium at 7pm.
MAY 12th - PHS CHOIR CONCERT (7pm)
The PHS Choirs will perform in the PHS Auditorium at 7pm.
MAY 14th - CAP AND GOWN DISTRIBUTION BEGINS IN MAIN OFFICE
Seniors may begin to pick up their graduation cap and gowns from the main office. To be eligible to get their cap and gown, the following must be true:
- The guidance office must have indicated they are on track to graduate
- They do not have any detention time to serve
- They do not have any outstanding fees (lunch balance, library books, sports/activity fees, etc.)
MAY 17th - CHOIR TRIP TO VALLEY FAIR FOR TRILLS AND THRILLS VOCAL FESTIVAL
PHS Choir students will travel to Valley Fair for the day to participate in the "Trills and Thrills Vocal Festival" while also enjoying all that Valley Fair has to offer.
MAY 18th - PHS FILM / RAILTV SENIOR RECOGNITION AND FILM FESTIVAL (12pm)
Come and celebrate the amazing work that students in RailsTV and Film class have produced over the course of this year. In addition, the seniors in RailTV will be recognized for their contributions and commitment to the program in their high school years.
MAY 21st - GRADUATION TICKET DISTRIBUTION
All seniors who have all requirements met and who have no outstanding fees will be issued their tickets for the graduation ceremony. Each senior will receive 10 tickets. Students who do not need all 10 tickets are encouraged to return unused tickets to Mrs. Rands so those who need more can have access to them. PHS does not get involved with who in a student's family gets a ticket. Each student is issued 10 tickets and it is up to them to determine who does or does not get one.
MAY 21st - BACCALAUREATE AT FORBES CHURCH (5pm)
Baccalaureate is a non-denominational blessing of the senior class. It is held at Forbes Church in Proctor at 5pm and seniors who choose to attend will wear their cap and gown and should arrive by 4:45pm. There will be songs, speeches, readings, and the blessing. You are welcome and encouraged to attend even if you are not religious or do not attend church regularly.
MAY 23rd - SENIOR CLASS TRIP TO TAYLORS FALLS (ALL DAY)
- FEE FOR THIS EVENT = $45

- Students must register and pay by May 15th
- Payment should be made with Mrs. Rands in the main office.
- Buses will depart PHS at 8:15am and will arrive at Taylors Falls by 9:30am
- Buses will depart Taylors Falls at 3pm and will arrive at PHS by 4:30pm
- A bag lunch will be provided to each senior from the school at 12pm. There will be a cooler with two beverages per student to drink throughout the day. This is included in the $45 fee for this trip. There will be concessions available at Taylors Falls during the day for purchase so brining extra money is encouraged.
- Students not attending the senior trip are expected to be in school and in class as usual.
- Students must ride the bus to and from the event. No one will be allowed to drive their own vehicle.
- Students will have full access to the water park, go-karts, free fall, and the alpine slides.
MAY 23rd & MAY 24th - PHS DRAMA PRODUCTION OF CLUE

May 24th - 1:00pm and 7:00pm
MAY 27th - SENIOR WALK AT ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS
All PHS Seniors (regardless if they are on track to graduate or not) are invited to board the bus at Ugstad circle at 8:30am to go to Pike Lake Elementary and then also Bay View Elementary to be celebrated and congratulated by the elementary students and staff on the end of their high school careers.
MAY 30th - MANDATORY GRADUATION REHEARSAL IN PHS AUDITORIUM 3:15pm
All students who have met the requirements to be allowed to attend the Commencement ceremony are required to attend a mandatory rehearsal in the PHS Auditorium at 3:15pm on May 30th. Students should bring their cap and gown so a senior class photo can be taken with everyone in their cap and gowns. The rehearsal usually lasts about one hour depending on how cooperative and on time the seniors are. It is important that all seniors are there so the seating arrangement for graduation can be finalized and the procedures for how the ceremony will go can be understood.
JUNE 1st - COMMENCEMENT AT THE DECC AUDITORIUM 6pm
The class of 2025 will celebrate their commencement at 6pm on June 1st at the DECC Auditorium. All seniors are required to be at the DECC by 4pm for one final rehearsal. Students who are signed up to attend the All Night Grad Party MUST park their vehicles and drop off a change of clothes at Skyline Social and Games and then board a bus to go to the DECC at 3:30pm. Students who are not signed up for the grad party must be at the DECC by 4pm.
JUNE 1st - ALL NIGHT GRAD PARTY AT SKYLINE SOCIAL AND GAMES
2:00-3:30 PM - Check-In & Bag Check At Skyline Social and Games
At Bag-Check in, Bags will be checked - This is a Chemical Free Event
All Students, regardless if you are attending the All Night Graduation Party or not will depart from Skyline for graduation at the DECC
Each Student will receive a Subway Sandwich meal & Beverage upon Check-In
3:30 PM - Buses leave promptly for the DECC- Please do not be late!
6:00 PM - Graduation/Doors open at 5:30
If you are NOT attending the All Night Grad Party, you are responsible for your own transportation home from the DECC.
8:00 PM - Board the Vista Fleet Boat, behind the DECC.
Snacks, Soda and Water will be provided on the boat
Make sure to have a jacket with you.
Have your family keep these items with them during graduation. You will not be able to go to the bus before going to the Vista Fleet.
9:30 PM - Board the Buses to go back to Skyline
10:00 PM - Check-In, Change, Welcome and Pizza Buffet
10:30-5:00 AM - ALL NIGHT GRAD PARTY

Financial assistance is available upon request. Stop in and sign up in the high school office to register and request assistance.
If you are not going on the vista cruise, but will be attending the party-You are responsible for your own transportation from the DECC to skyline. Please arrive to skyline by 1030pm.
If you choose to leave the party prior to the ending, you will not be allowed to re-enter the event.
Each registered student will receive a gift box for attending and be eligible for prize drawings throughout the night.

***EVENT COMPLETED*** APRIL 17th - GREATER PROCTOR AREA SCHOLARSHIP INTERVIEWS
Students who applied for the Greater Proctor Area Scholarships will have an interview with the selection committee at a time that will be set up with each applicant by the guidance office.
**EVENT COMPLETED** APRIL 23rd - SENIOR CLASS PHOTO ON TRAIN
On Wednesday, April 23rd at 11:45am sharp, all PHS seniors should be at the train by the golf course for a photo that will go into the yearbook. If you are not there at 11:45am when the camera clicks, you will not be in the photo. Seniors should plan to ride share and park in the community center parking lot or on the road. Parking should be appropriate so as to avoid getting a ticket from the Proctor PD.

PHS Spring Homecoming celebration all week
**EVENT COMPLETED** APRIL 30th - SPRING AAA SENIOR RECOGNITION ASSEMBLY (8:30am)
Seniors in Spring activities will be honored at 8:30am in the PHS Auditorium as well as the Spring King/Queen coronation and academic awards being presented to 9-12 grade students.

This checkpoint is important for seniors because cumulative grade information through checkpoint 3 will be compiled to determine honor graduate status and other academic awards.
