Don't forget to renew your membership! If we haven't heard from you we'll be reaching out to check in on your membership plans.
We're also gearing up for our annual specialty weekend in Timonium, MD. The specialty is Friday, April 19th with all-breed shows on Saturday and Sunday, April 20thand 21st with the supported entry at Sunday's show. Check out the Facebook event page for more information.

January board meeting 1/26
-Called to order 1230p
-Talked about membership renewals & trophy donations. Laura suggested making calls or individual contacts for people.
-Talked about bidding for the national
-Agility report- site is contracted and one judge
- Specialty report - panel is pended researching why- trophies have been acquired
- 2019 events- nosework workshop w Karen Allen any Sunday other than the 17th in March $200, $75. 2.5 hours 10 working dogs in the workshop. Location: a click above in Leesburg. Targeting 3/24 as first choice or 3/10. Will be half price for beardies at $25, if we don’t fill with beardies then we will open it to other breeds and non club members at $40
April specialty& supported entry
May - Bounce at linda porter’s 5/18
June - honehlee gordonsville winery even (hosted by Roger Orrock and Kathy Dimond) , investigating herding trial
July or August - fitness event- non beardies if not filled
September - winery event (Roger Orrock /Kathy Dimond hosting)
October - agility trial 26/27
November - annual meeting targeting 16/17 (roger will ask Kathy W)
December - Scottish walk December 7th , Lynne hosting, Roger & Kathy co hosting holiday party on 12/8
Sending something to Beth Jacobs, who has been ill. Roger also noted that she has some club stuff that she requested to have picked up. Karen to reach out.

Intro to nosework event
Our Introducton to Nosework event will take place on March 24 from 1-3 PM at A Click Above in Leesburg, VA.
The event is open to all breeds, but only Bearded Collies may enter until March 11. There are 10 working spots available.
Cost is $25 per dog for active NCBCC members and $40 for non-members. Observer spots are unlimited and available for $10 each.
