Congratulations to all the OBOB teams at Irvington! This week we had the final battle in the Oregon Battles of the Books. 39 students read 16 books and battled it out over the past few weeks. The final two teams featured the Book Snakes from 3rd grade vs the Oh, Bobs from 5th grade. After a nail biter of a final, the Oh, Bobs will be representing Irvington at the regional tournament in a few weeks.

Connect to Kindergarten Event

Have an incoming kindergartener or know someone in our neighborhood who does? The Connect to Kindergartener informational events are starting up, the first one being next Tuesday, March 14, from 6-7pm at Irvington (kids stay home for this one). Come meet Mr. G and both kindergarten teachers, hear from a panel of current Irvington caregivers, and get to see inside the school! Spread the word, and help our school community grow! After-School Classes in the Spring

Spring after-school classes are coming! Look for the class offerings in your student’s Friday Folder today. Registration opens Monday, March 13th at 10am and happens online at https://www.irvingtonschool.com/afterschool/.

Scholarships are available! Any student who qualifies for free/reduced lunch is eligible for one after school class scholarship per term. The application process is now online - CLICK HERE TO APPLY. You are encouraged to apply as soon as possible, ideally before registration opens, to help ensure your student gets a spot in the class. Auction Classroom Art Show on Monday

Come see all of the amazing auction classroom art projects on Monday, March 13, from 2:45-3:30pm under the covered area behind the school! All of the classroom art that your students helped create will be on display, as well as other art pieces that will be bid on. Come see all the beautiful art!

Family Gym Night on 03/16

Family Gym Night is back next week on Thursday, March 16, from 5:30-7:30pm. Going forward, they will continue to be Thursday evenings at that time. Join us for a good time in the Irvington gym with open gym, organized games, music, and fun! Please enter through the gym doors at the back of the school and stick around to supervise your kiddo!
