A note from the editor...
This week's newsletter is stuffed full of new information for all the happenings that we have going on in the few weeks before Christmas Break. RJHS has several fundraisers and events that staff and students will be involved in each week. The semester test schedule is also linked below. Event and fundraiser information will also be posted to the RJHS website, as well as the RJHS Facebook page.

FYI:
Students will not be able to take their semester tests early for any reason. Semesters tests are required for ALL students during the Fall semester. If students are not present for their semester tests, they will have to take their tests when they come back for the Spring semester. Students will not be able to check out of school until their testing session is finished.

Whirlwind Theatre's Fall presentation of "Cinderella's Crunchy Christmas Cake"
December 2, 2022, 7pm
"The holiday season is in full swing! It's Cinderella's first Christmas in the castle. She wants to make an extra-special secret surprise for the Prince: His favorite cake! But calamity ensues. The cake is all crunchy, her Fairy Godmother is on vacation, and the Stepsisters have a dastardly plan of their own. Will the cake be delicious? Or will it be a disaster?"
RJHS National Junior Honor Society will host their annual Blood Drive
RJHS NJHS will hold their Blood Drive Tuesday, December 6th from 2pm-6pm in the RJHS Safe Room. We hope you can help out and donate!

RSD Reads is the Literacy Program for the Secondary Libraries of RSD.
9th Grade Transition Day
On Wednesday, December 7th, students will be bused to RHS and tour and learn about the many opportunities they can experience as a Cyclone. Please make sure students are on time and present for school on this day. Buses will leave during 1st period and then return before 9th grade lunch.
Cyclone Baseball Tryouts
Any 9th grader interested in trying out for the Cyclone Baseball team, please email Coach Will McCrotty at will.mccrotty@rsdk12.net for more information. Tryouts will be held on November 29th, November 30th and December 1st. All players trying out must have a current physical.
Cyclone Soccer Tryouts
Any 9th grader interested in trying our for the Cyclone Soccer team, tryouts will be held November 28th-December 1st, 2022 at Cyclone Stadium from 4pm-6pm Monday-Friday. Players need a current physical to tryout. Doctors will be at the Tuesday tryout to give physicals if needed. Players need cleats, shin guards, and running shoes to tryout.

Crawford Christmas Toy Drive
The NJHS will be collecting new, unopened toys for the students of Crawford Elementary School. For every gift that a person brings, that person will get their name entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $25.00 gift card to Wal-Mart. All toys must be appropriate for ages 6yr-10yr. Toys can be brought to Mrs. Hubbard's classroom. Donations will be accepted until Wednesday, December 14th, 2022. FBLA "Crazy Socks" Fundraiser
FBLA is raising money for their district and national competitions this year by selling Crazy Socks! We all need a little more fun in our lives so why not do that through a silly pair of socks? Individuals can also make direct donations via cash/check as well!
Russellville Band Boosters Fundraiser
Purchase a "Slice the Price" card from Domino's for $15.00! This card allows you to receive a large pizza of equal or lesser value for EACH large pizza you purchase @ any participating Domino's.
Cards are good until June 30, 2023.
