Remote Learning Opportunities
To help take some of that work off your plate, here are some Google resources that you can copy/edit and add to your Canvas assignments to assist in getting to know your new family of students in your classroom cohorts. I would love to join you in your scheduled zoom time to help implement these interactive activities with your students. If you would like another set of hands to extend learning opportunities for your cohort(s), click the calendar link below to schedule a time for me to offer "zoom-in" support.
Traditional Back to School "Class Quilt"
Create a virtual class quilt with this Google Draw template for students to complete individually. Once completed, you can compile student squares into this Google Draw Banner template to create a new banner for your class Canvas course dashboard icon.
True Colors
True Colors is a personality assessment to help you determine what kind of learners your new students are. Knowing "how" your students process, manage, and interpret information is a huge helping factor in determining ways of delivering instruction and developing choice boards to display student learning.
"Zoom In" Support
GATE Calendar Appointments offer:
1. Collaborative lesson planning for extension/enrichment and engagement connected to current curriculum content
2. Pre-planned “Zoom In” assistance with GATE/high ability student breakout groups
3. Whole class “Affective” activity
*Please limit your appointment reservations to 2 per month.
