Halloween Fun at Santa Rita!
Thank you to PTA for a much needed coffee cart the day after Halloween!
1st and 6th grade buddies filled the multi for a fun Halloween partner reading.

Our Bobcats on the Run Club has been in full swing. They are getting ready to run a 5k in Palo Alto on Dec 16th. Everyone is invited to join the run and we get a discount if you sign up now! I will be there and hope to see you there too.

In-Person TK/Kindergarten & New Family Info Night
When: Thursday, November 2, 2023, 7pm
Where: Each of Our 7 Elementary Schools
What: Principals, teachers, parents and students will present information and answer your questions about the excellent academic programs and classroom instruction in your neighborhood elementary school.
Next Tuesday, Mathnasium Night will in the multi from 6-7:30. We are sorry for the postponement last week. Come with the entire family to play math games and earn prizes!
Finally, next Friday, November 10 there is NO School, have a great 3 day weekend!

Bobcats on the Run 5k!
We are calling ALL bobcats to join Bobcats on the Run in participating in the Palo Alto 5k on December 16th. Last year, we had the most finishers for a club at 31 participants. We are looking to see if we can get even more bobcats to join this year.
You do not have to be in the Bobcats on the Run club to participate. Siblings, parents, friends, and grandparents are welcome.

October is Dyslexia Awareness Month. Dyslexia is the most common learning disability and affects 1 in 5 students. Visit Decoding Dyslexia CA for resources and see the Peninsula DDCA flyer for upcoming local support group events.

Seeking Parent/Community Feedback on Community Health Awareness Council (CHAC)
LASD partners with CHAC to provide school based mental health services at all of our elementary school sites. CHAC is seeking input from the Los Altos, Mountain View, and Los Altos Hills communities to improve their Clinic Services in order to better meet the needs of the community.
