PRINCIPAL'S UPDATE
Dear Eagle Crest Families π¦ π,
A heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you for joining us for our midyear Family-Teacher Conferences. π This time is truly special as it allows our families and teachers to connect, celebrate student progress, and chart a course forward together. πβ¨ We've been delighted to see a steady flow of families over the past few evenings, and I'm thrilled to announce that we've had an incredible participation rate! π
If, for any reason, you weren't able to attend your child's conference, please rest assured that discussions about student learning and growth are ongoing, and our dedicated staff is always here to collaborate with families throughout the school year. π¬π©βπ«π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦

DEAN OF STUDENT'S UPDATE
Hello Eagle Crest Families!
We had a fantastic VEX IQ Robotics tournament last weekend! Thirty-two teams, representing local schools, engaged in over 100 matches throughout the day. This event served as the culmination of our Eaglebotics teams' efforts. Since September, they've dedicated over 60 hours to designing and refining their robots for this year's game. Two Eaglebotics teams secured 2nd and 3rd place finishes, while the Eaglebotics Eagles were honored with the Think Award for the consistency and reliability of their autonomous program. Overall, it was a tremendously successful season, with every team demonstrating collaboration and perseverance in the face of challenges.
If you're interested in learning more about VEX IQ robotics, mark your calendars for the Colorado State Championship hosted by Silver Creek High School on Saturday, March 9th! The matches will commence around 9:15 am and will feature eight elementary teams competing for spots at the World Championships in May.
All the best,
Lindsey Cheney

Tomorrow is "Anything but a Backpack" Day at Eagle Crest!

Mwebaza Annex and St. Paul schools in Uganda will each be receiving about 600 books and training on how to use a library with students, teachers and community members. Students are welcome to bring donations, but donations are not required to participate in the spirit day fun.

Please help by nominating a teacher who you believe exemplifies excellence for a Teacher of the Year Award. Visit St. Vrain Valley Schools Education Foundation's website at https://stvrainfoundation.org/programs/tribute-to-teachers/ for the nomination form.
