Carpool Rules
Here are a few things to remember at drop-off & pick-up.
Please pull all the way forward, make room for others, and watch for the signals of our teachers.
Please don't stop in the outside lane, stop in the crosswalk, ignore carpool staff, or let your car idle.
Please don't park in the carpool lanes or red zone; this area is for quick loading and unloading.
Getting To School On Time
A good day at school starts the night before! We all know how hard it can be to get your student to school on time, but here are some suggestions!
- Try picking out their clothes with them and laying them out the night before.
- Pack a backpack the night before and set it in the car or at the door.
- Create a restful night time routine that could include a bath, soft music, alone time with mom, dad or a chapter or two from a favorite book.
- Include them in planning a nutritious breakfast that they will enjoy.
- Being on time is a large contributor to why kids don't want to go to school. By getting your students to school early or on time, they can walk in with their friends and gain comfort by associating with their peers.
- You may want to walk your child to class, but it is best to drop them off and let them walk in on their own. This helps them feel confident in themselves and their ability to get to class on their own.

Attendance Policy
Students are allowed a maximum of seven (7) unexcused absences per year. An oral or written communication documenting a valid excuse must be received from the student's parents/guardian within one (1) business day of the absence in order for the absence to be excused. In the event of multiple consecutive absences, written communication must be received within one (1) business day of the student’s return to school. In the event of an unforeseeable illness or emergency, the school should be notified as soon as reasonably possible.
Excused absences may become unexcused if the Campus Director determines that absences have reached an excessive level and are adversely impacting the student’s education.
