12 Days Until Christmas Break Spirit Days: Our 12 Days until Christmas Break continues this week. We hope your child will participate in the fun! The days are listed below:

Tuesday, December 6: Shine Bright- Wear Your brightest attire.

Wednesday, December 7: White as Snow- Wear white!

Thursday, December 8: Tree topper- Wear your favorite Christmas hat.

Friday, December 9: Christmas on the beach- Wear your favorite beach attire.

Tuesday, December 13: Ugly Sweater Day - Wear your ugly Christmas sweater!

Wednesday, December 14: Baby it's Cold Outside- Wear your cozy and warm attire.

Thursday, December 15: Christmas Morning- Wear your pajamas to school.

Friday, December 16: Christmas Day- Wear as much Christmas attire as possible!

Alternative Method of Instruction (AMI) Packets: Please keep your child's AMI packet in a safe spot. This work will only need to be completed if we have to miss school and announce a day as an AMI day.

Elementary Christmas Program: Our Christmas program will be this Thursday, December 8, 2022. The program will be held in the High School gym. The kindergarten, first and second graders will perform at 6:00 PM. Students will need to be in their homeroom class by 5:40 PM that evening. The third and fourth grade and Honor Choir will perform at 7:00 PM. These students will need to be in their homeroom classes by 6:40 PM. Students in 5th and 6th grade will not be participating in the Christmas Programs this year unless they are in Honor Choir.

CSCO Meeting Next Tuesday: The next CSCO meeting will be next Tuesday, December 13 at 7 PM. We hope you can join us to plan upcoming events.

School Board Meeting: The December School Board meeting will be on Wednesday, December 14 at 6:30 PM.

Class Christmas Parties: We will be having our class Christmas parties on Friday, December 16. AM Preschool sessions will have their parties at 10:00 AM. All other classes will have their party at 2:30 PM. Teachers will be communicating via Class Dojo on items they need for the parties. Parents/grandparents are invited to attend these parties if they would like to come.

Still Important...

Student Absences: If your child is absent from school for any reason, please call the office to let us know. The phone number is 417-723-5300 ext. 902.

Breakfast: If your child is a parent drop off each morning and wants to eat breakfast at school, he/she needs to be dropped off no later than 7:40 AM. We have had a few come after 7:45 and they do not have time to get to breakfast before being counted tardy for class.

SNAP and Medicaid Application Assistance: If you would like assistance in applying for SNAP or Medicaid, then please call the Elementary office so we can help you set up an appointment with someone who can help you complete the process. If you would like us to send home applications for you to complete on your own, we can do that too. Just give us call and let us know how we can help! 417-723-5300 ext 902.

December 3: Crane Community Christmas Parade at 6 PM

December 8: Elementary Christmas Program K-2 at 6 PM, 3-4 and Honor Choir at 7 PM

December 13: CSCO Meeting at 7 PM

December 14: School Board Meeting at 6:30 PM

December 16: End of 2nd Quarter

December 16: Class Christmas Parties AM Preschool at 10 AM, all other parties at 2:30 PM

December 20-30: Christmas Break

January 3: Students Return to School
