Dakota Access Pipeline.
The Dakota Access Pipeline, according to Wikipedia is a proposed underground oil pipeline, which will cover over 1,134 miles. The Dakota Access Pipeline has proven to be an extremely controversial deal. The Dakota Access Pipeline has been deemed unnecessary and harmful because it is proposed to go through the Standing Rock Indian Reservation. The Standing Rock Indian Reservation is a Hunkpapa, Lakota, and Yanktonai Reservation, and this Reservation is a sacred/religious ground and serves religious meaning to these tribes. If the Pipeline is built, it would destroy items of spiritual significance to these tribes.
Tax Dollars.
The working class of people in Modern America, get paid on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis, and every payday a certain percentage is taken out of your check. The money that Uncle Sam takes out of your check, is used to fund the Dakota Access Pipeline, which is sad. Your tax dollars go towards pepper spray, mace, and dogs to attack the protestors who are fighting for what they believe in.
#NoDAPL, #WeStandWithStandingRock.
