National Technical Honor Society: The purpose of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) is to honor student achievement and leadership, promote educational excellence, and enhance occupational opportunities for the student members.

Students from the Central Vermont Career Center may be considered for membership after being enrolled for a total of 3 quarters in any Career Center Program. Students are required to meet or exceed covered proficiencies in their Career Center Program and in their Academic coursework, have no more than 2 excused absences per quarter, and have demonstrated excellence in attitude, character, dependability, safety awareness, and teamwork.

Design and Fabrication students were introduced to blacksmithing and tool-making with Steven Bronstein.

1. Skateboards are not covered by our insurance, therefore students shall not use them on campus - we will be taking them.

2. Parent Pick Up Please do not use the bus lane while buses are present at CVCC during dismissal!

3. Cell Phone Use Our expectation at CVCC is that students are developing the skills to be college and career ready. As such, many of the careers we train for do not allow employees to use personal devices during the workday. Therefore, CVCC students are not to be using their cell phones during the school day (8:20-12:30). It is the expectation that if parents/guardians need to be in touch with students regarding an emergency, they contact our CVCC Main Office and we will speak to the student regarding the situation or find them a private, safe space to take the phone call.

12/7: NMHS/WMHS students have an early dismissal, however, students are expected to attend their CVCC program classes.

12/22: CVCC is closed, however, HUHS/ NMHS/ WMHS/ U32/ MHS are in session. Students are expected to attend their sending school classes.
