3D printing comes to CMHS
Recently students have been given the opportunity to 3-D print some items that they have designed. Students in Mr. Sternsher's Computer Graphics class designed feet for table legs and were then able to print out there design in order to see which would work best. Students have also been using the 3-D printer to create 3-D puzzle pieces. This new technology is a great addition to our computer technology courses.
State Runners-Up!!!
The Clinton-Massie Falcons were crowned Regional Champions in Division IV on Friday, November 17. The Falcons defeated the Cowboys from Wyoming high school, 28-7. We then went on to beat John Glenn high school to reach the state championship game in Canton, Ohio. We squared off against a talented Steubenville team, played hard, but came up short 50-36. Congrats on a great season!

Marching Band Sees Great Success
The high school marching band has seen great success this fall! The band has placed very high in many of their competitions and the Guard and Percussion sections have received individual accolades as well. All of the hard work and time paid off as the band once again qualified for State where they received an "Excellent" rating. The marching band was an important part during the football team's march to the state championship game as they played at every game along the way, in addition to playing at the pep rally and walk-through sendoff!

MAP testing
January is the winter benchmark period for NWEA MAP assessments for students in grades Kindergarten through 9th grade. Clinton-Massie teachers use MAP data to help customize instruction to meet the needs of the individual learner. MAP testing for the 9th grade will take place on January 16th and 17th during regularly scheduled class time. MAP is also used as an identifier of the gifted Learner.
