A message from our Upper Campus Head of School
This 2023-24 school year is off to a great start. Our teachers and students have well-established routines and classroom norms and have begun completing challenging activities.
We look forward to welcoming our Upper Campus (UC) families to Curriculum Night tomorrow, August 31, from 6pm to 8:15pm. Parking will be available at Church in Atlanta across the road from UC (access via Shallowford Rd), so that we may begin promptly at 6:00pm.
Curriculum Night is a great opportunity to go into more detail about what students will be working on this school year, to see yearly goals, familiarize yourself with the units of study, learn about some of the planned field trips, our after-school clubs, and what's new in Athletics.
We are very excited about our campus-wide science fair taking place later this semester in grades from 4–8. I am pleased to share some images of 6th grade students participating in a research study through the University of Georgia. Our students are currently learning about experimentation and the scientific method by conducting an experiment using Virtual Reality.
There will be no school on Monday, as it is Labor Day. Enjoy the long weekend, be safe, and we look forward to welcoming all of our students back on Tuesday, September 5.
In community,
Dr. Priscilla Noble
Head of School, Upper Campus

The Annual Fund 2023-2024 Challenge
Thank you to all who have donated thus far. The current leaderboards for LC and UC can be seen by clicking on the image. We are at 23% raised so far.
Every year, each classroom competes to see who will reach 100% participation first in the Annual Fund Challenge. The suggested donation is $400 per student, however, gifts of any amount count and help us reach our goal of $150,000. The class at each campus with the highest participation rate by September 1, 2023 wins a popsicle party and a surprise for each student. Donate here.
