A Letter from the Headmaster
Dear Parents,
It is hard to believe we have completed the first nine weeks of this academic year. Thank you to all those volunteers who made the Pumpkin Party a huge success and those who supported our October Skate Station Family Night. We have seen great growth in our scholars during this quickly moving year. Please take a few minutes to think about the changes and growth you have seen in your scholar, we would love to hear about it. It is not a cliche to say that every day of school is valuable. We cannot stress enough the importance of having your scholar in school every day and on time.
The change in weather has been great. Along with the change in weather comes a need for warmer outerwear. Please be reminded that non-SJCA outerwear may not be worn inside the classroom/buildings. November brings in several holidays, take a moment to thank a Veteran for their service to our country and plan to attend our join Veterans Day concert listed in the events calendar. Additionally, we will be hosting a Veterans Day Grab and Go drive-thru lunch on Thursday, November 9th, look for additional information to come. We look forward to continuing to pour into our scholars and grow the SJCA-OP community. On a safety note, we are noticing a number of parents on their cell phones in the parent pickup line, please delay those calls, texts, or emails for the safety of our scholars.
Lastly, we communicate to our staff that the Virtues we promote to our scholars must first be modeled to them. We seek to model the SJCA Standards of Virtue daily in our interactions with the scholars, each other, and our parents. Parents, we appreciate you working alongside us in modeling these Standards of Virtue with your scholars, our staff, and the greater school community; be it in carline, one-on-one conversations and interactions with your scholars' teachers. Please consider supporting the OP teachers through the 1776-Promise program. We greatly appreciate your trust and support.
Anthony (Tony) Bradley
