IS IT A COLD OR ALLERGIES?
If fever is present, it is likely to be a cold or viral infection of some kind, NOT an allergy.
Fatigue and exhaustion usually indicate a cold or viral illness.
Itchy, watery eyes indicate allergies, NOT a cold.
Clear, THIN nasal drainage along with itchy, watery eyes suggests allergies, while THICK nasal drainage indicate a cold or infection.
A common cold rarely has symptoms lasting over about a week, while allergy symptoms will last longer ( as long as allergens like pollen are present).
A horizontal crease across the top of the nose, caused by rubbing their noses up and down and wiggling it from side to side is almost exclusive to allergy sufferers.
Treat the symptoms,( nasal sprays, tylenol, antihistamines) consult with a physician.A spoonful of LOCAL honey daily. will boost immune systems, and also decrease cough. This is a great all natural treatment!
