Digital Citizenship Week in IVA

The importance of talking about and practicing what it sounds like, looks like, and feels like to be a good digital citizen is even more crucial for our students in IVA. They get a daily opportunity to use these skills online and we want to encourage and support them in making positive choices with technology. Digital Citizenship Week in IVA will be March 21-March 25th. Each day next week will have a unique focus around the topic of digital citizenship and how it connects to our Dragon C.O.D.E. On Friday, March 25th, students will dress up as a Super-Hero to use their digital citizenship powers for good! We also hope that you can use these at-home activities to continue the conversation at-home with the whole family, building that connection between home and school even further.

Attendance - If your student is going to be absent from school please email or call our attendance office at 949 517-1501 or email at ivaelmattendance@iusd.org If your student will be leaving or arriving late to class due to a medical appointment please email the medical note from the provider to ivaelmattendance@iusd.org

Is your child's school Chromebook up to date? This month, students will begin to see a new gopher shaped extension when they are signed into their IUSD Google Account. If a student clicks on Gopher Buddy, it will show them whether they need to update their IUSD Chromebook or if it is currently up-to-date. For more information click here.
