News for You:
- Parent/Guardian Survey: Please take a few moments to complete our parent/guardian survey. We use the results to help drive our school improvement processes. Completing the survey will enter your name into a random drawing for a $100 gift card!
- Project Christmas: The Manton Rotary is collecting new or gently used stuffed animals to be given out at Project Christmas. There is a labeled box outside the office. Animals will be collected until December 7. If you have any questions, please call Julie Harmon at 231-824-6401 Ext 4003.
- Basketball Gear Store: Check out our latest store! The store ends on November 23rd!
- Lost and Found: Please encourage your child to check the lost and found for any of their belongings. It's getting out of hand (see picture below). Thanks!
- Doors open at 8:20, and Dismissal is at 3:10
- Holiday Help: The Holiday Season is fast approaching. Times can be difficult. With the added stress of the Holidays, some families struggle more than usual. If you are in need of assistance this Holiday Season, we have our Holiday Help forms outside the Elementary office. The forms are due back to the office by November 22, 2022.

- PTO: The PTO (parent-teacher organization) is looking for new parent recruits who want to be a part of a great group to enhance the school experience for all students! Please get in touch with Mr. Katona if you're interested in joining! Our next meeting will be Tuesday, December 6, at 6:30 pm.
- PTO Craft Show: The PTO's annual Craft Show will be on Saturday, December 2 in the 5rh street gym from 9:00 am-2:00 pm.
- Christmas Tree Auction: Come and place a bid on our 2nd annual Christmas Tree Auction. The auction takes place during the PTO Craft Show!
- Cold Weather: Cold weather is here! Please send your child with a jacket and warm clothing as the weather gets cooler. Thanks!
- WIN Room Clothes: We are looking for clothes donations (pants, shirts, etc.) for our WIN room. You can drop them off in the elementary office. Thank you
- Popcorn Fridays: Parent/Guardians, popcorn Fridays are back! Students will get a bag of popcorn one Friday of the month (usually the last Friday). We are asking for students to bring in $.25 per month to help offset the cost of the popcorn. This is not mandatory, and we thank you for your help! *Our next Popcorn Friday will be on December 21!
- Drop-off Lane: Parents/Guardians! Please don't leave your vehicle in the drop-off lane; pull forward to allow other vehicles to enter. This WILL help the flow of traffic.
- Water Bottles: Please continue to send your child to school with a water bottle!
- No outside visitors are allowed to enter the building (parents included).
- Please be sure to contact the office and get the proper paperwork for any Medication disbursement or food modification forms for the kitchen. Medication can not be given without paperwork from the school signed by the physician. This includes Epi-pens and inhalers as well as prescribed and non-prescribed medication. The kitchen cannot accommodate any food modifications without the form from the school filled out by a physician.
- Head lice: Please regularly check to ensure your child does not have head lice. Thank you!
- Gym Shoes: Please have your child in gym shoes on their gym days.
Elementary Music Concert Info!
We are making some changes to our music programs this year. We look forward to watching our students perform!
- Kindergarten-Christmas concert on Friday, December 16th (more information to come)
- 3rd/4th grade-Salute to Troops concert in March
- 1st/2nd grade-Spring concert in April or May
