Starting next week, Young Visionaries present Motivating African Americans through Resiliency Training (SMAART) Program.

The purpose of the SMAART Program is to enhance the academic performance of students by addressing their socio-emotional needs. Students will receive mentoring from professionals, learn career opportunities and gain strategies on how to achieve their goals.

The sport of hockey originated with the Saux, Foxes, and Assiniboine people, who were among the Native American tribes who played a game called “shinny,” where a ball was hit down a field (and in the winter, over ice) using a curved stick.

We offer support for all students that may be experiencing Grief and Loss, dealing with Self Identity, Anger Management, Support for LGBTQ+, Anxiety and Stress, and Empowerment groups, just to name a few.
