Jedlicka Middle School

Beginning Monday, students and staff at JMS have a choice as to whether will wear a mask at school. Effective March 7th, JMS will move from masks "required" to "recommended".

Harper Mistelske and Bryce Boeselagar earned a second place award in their category!

Toby Schunk earned a first place award in his category and is advancing to the Minnesota State Science and Engineering Fair!

Toby also earned the Yale Science & Engineering Award and the Broadcom MASTERS Top 10 Middle School Project Award.

Mrs. Kane's class had a contest to see who could donate the most pencils. 4th hour was the big winner. They plan to share the pencils around the school. Thanks, everyone!

Did you know that February is "I LOVE TO READ" month? Please encourage the kids to read at home throughout the month. Keep track of the pages read. The advisory in each grade level with the highest total wins the competition.

Our PIE group met last night to discuss a range of topics as well as to coordinate some fundraising ideas. We have some exciting ideas I hope to share with everyone soon. Until then, please let me know if you are interested in joining our PIE group.
