Veteran's Day Recognition
Dear Parents,
As we approach Veterans Day, we want to honor and pay tribute to the brave veterans who have served our country, and we need your help to make our commemoration truly special. We are putting together a touching slideshow presentation, and we are looking for photographs of veterans in your family to be included.
If you have a relative who has served in the armed forces, whether in the past or currently, we would be immensely grateful if you could share their photo with us. This is an opportunity to celebrate and acknowledge their sacrifices, dedication, and the invaluable contributions they've made to our nation.
Please consider sending us a photograph of your veteran family member along with their name, branch of service, rank, and which student(s) they are related to. Our goal is to create a heartfelt and meaningful tribute that highlights the strength and commitment of these courageous individuals.
You can send your photos and information to brandi.hall@blancoisd.org by Friday, November 3rd.
Thank you for your support in helping us create a memorable Veterans Day slideshow. Your participation will contribute to a beautiful expression of gratitude and respect for the veterans within our community.
Halloween Parade
Our students were invited to parade through Central Office in their costumes on Thursday. Members of the Central Office, dressed in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles costumes, staff handed out candy to our students. They were joined by representatives of Joeris (the company that is constructing the new gym) and the Blanco Police Department. There were lots of smiles from students and adults.
