CLIO INTERMEDIATE

One of our goals this year as a district is to decrease the amount of students who are chronically absent. Chronically absent is defined as missing 10% or more of school days for any reason. Here are some current statistics about overall attendance at CIS:

Students who have missed 10% of days for any reason: 119

Students who have 10% or more Unexcused absences: 23

Students who have 10% or more Tardies/Left Early: 17

In light of these statistics, we are having an attendance incentive for the month of February to encourage healthy attendance for our students. All students who miss less than 2 days (10%) of school days in February will earn certificates and Mustang Money. Hopefully this will help increase our attendance and we will offer more incentives in the coming months.

• Students can not be dropped off before 8:30am
• If you need to make any alternate transportation plans for after school, please contact the CIS office before 2:30pm.
• Students leaving early need to be picked up before 3:15, unless for an emergency
• Please turn right only when leaving the CIS parking lot.
• Please wait in the pickup line, do not park and pick up your student.
