TK/Kindergarten Information Night - Wednesday, January 25th
Sierra's TK & Kindergarten Information Night Meeting registration is open for parents of our future 2023-24 TKers & Kindersharks! Sierra's TK/Kindergarten Information Meeting will be on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Sierra library.

Age requirements for the 2023-24 school year:
KINDERGARTEN
To be age eligible for Kindergarten, a child must turn five (5) before September 1, 2023.
TRANSITIONAL KINDERGARTEN (TK)
Children turning five between September 2, 2023 - April 2, 2024 are age eligible for Transitional Kindergarten (TK).

2/20-2/24: President's Week Break - No school
2/27: Minimum Day (Dismissal 12:45 for Kindergarten, 12:55 for 1st-6th Grades)
3/6-3/10: Spring Conference Week - Minimum Days all week (Dismissal 12:45 for Kindergarten, 12:55 for 1st-6th Grades)
4/3-4/10: Spring Break - No School
5/11: Minimum Day (Dismissal 12:45 for Kindergarten, 12:55 for 1st-6th Grades)
5/11: Open House Night
5/15: Minimum Day (Dismissal 12:45 for Kindergarten, 12:55 for 1st-6th Grades)
5/29: Memorial Day - No School
6/1: Last Day of School/Minimum Day (Dismissal 12:45 for Kindergarten, 12:55 for 1st-6th Grades)

Adventure Awaits at Quarry Park Adventures, Saturday, March 25, 6-10pm. Add event to your calendar. Tickets go on sale February 6. Money raised at this fundraiser pays for important programs at Sierra that benefit each of our sharks.
**CURRENT NEED: We are in need of event sponsors and donations.

Donations: We welcome all donations (i.e., ski tickets/lessons, getaways, golf outings, restaurant/winery gift cards, services, swag, experiences (Sunsplash, sport games, Great Wolf Lodge, etc.). Please contact us to donate items for the auction.

Want to get a head start on some holiday shopping that ALSO support our 6th grade sharks? Are you cleared to volunteer or chaperone a field trip?
RUSD Policy:
- Fingerprinting completed for RUSD specifically. Prior fingerprinting done for any agency or organization other than RUSD will not be accepted. Fingerprinting takes approximately 72 hours to clear.
- Current Tuberculosis Test (TB). TB tests expire every 4 years and must be renewed in order to volunteer. TB Tests take approximately 48-72 hours for results and results must be brought to the office.
